Recruiting Foreign English Instructors
KSA of KAIST, a special high school for students gifted in mathematics and science, is looking for competent and sincere foreign English instructors who will work in the ECC (English Communication Center) and in the English Department.

1 | 2. Preferred qualifications
- A person with an official teacher’s certificate
- A person with a master’s degree on English or Education
- A person who can teach TOEFL or SAT courses
3. Term of Employment
- 1 year (from February 1, 2010 to January 31, 2011)
- The term of employment can be renewed by mutual written agreement between employer and employee.
4. Working Hours
- Eight (8) hours per day for five (5) calendar days per week, Monday to Friday
5. Working Condition
- Monthly Salary:Starts at 2,500,000 KRW (negotiable).
- Housing: Furnished housing provided.
- Severance pay: equivalent to one month's salary.
- Compulsory medical insurance: 50% of premiums paid by employer.
- National Pension: 50% of contributions paid by employer.
6. Selection Process
- Stage 1: Evaluation of submitted documents (KSA will give individual notice)
- Stage 2: Interview and open class lecture (30mins. each)
- - Only for applicants who pass stage 1
- Under unavoidable circumstances, the open class lecture can be substituted with a recorded class or be exempted by the principal. - If the applicant cannot have a face-to-face interview at KSA, the interview will be done by real-time video or telephone.
- The final decision will be notified on November 30.

8. Application Period:
- Applications must be submitted between September 14 and October 30, 2009 in person or by mail.
- Mailed applications must be postmarked by October 30, 2009.
- If you cannot submit your applications in person or by mail, you may send them by e-mail. But, when you visit KSA for the interview, you have to submit original copies of them.
- If the document is lost while it is being sent by mail, you are responsible for them.
9. Important Reminder
- Giving false information will result in the termination of the employment contract at any time before or after employment.
- If the documents are not properly made out, the applicant is responsible for them.
- If there are not enough qualified applicants, the positions may not be filled.
